Description
Sidex LS Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol and Guaifenesin, which relieves cough with mucus. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.

HOW TO USE SIDEX LS SYRUP
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Sidex-LS may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Inform your doctor if you experience any persistent problem while taking this medicine.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Sidex-LS?
Use of Sidex-LS is considered to be harmful in patients with a history of allergy to any of the active or inactive ingredients. Levosalbutamol and beta-blockers like propranolol should not usually be taken together.
Usage in pregnancy?
This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.
Can the use of Sidex-LS cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Sidex-LS can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better. Do not drive or use any machines.

Pregnancy PROBABLY SAFE

Lactation SAFE
SIDEX LS SYRUP is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby. Avoid prolonged use of SIDEX LS SYRUP , since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.
Driving
