USES OF FIFOX O TABLETS
- Typhoid fever
- This medicine is used for the treatment of typhoid fever (enteric fever), a disease characterized by symptoms such as a high fever, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.
- Urinary Tract Infection
- This medicine is used in the treatment of urinary tract infections caused by E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and Klebsiella pneumoniae in adult patients.
HOW TO USE FIFOX O TABLETS
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fifox-O Tablet is to be taken with food.
HOW FIFOX O TABLETS WORKS?
Fifox-O Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Ofloxacin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria in the human body. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacteria from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Yes, the use of Fifox-O can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.
